An Bord Altranais National Conference was held on Thursday 13 September 2007, at the Clarion Hotel Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22.
At the conference Ms. Mary Harney, Minister for Health and Children, launched an e-learning programme entitled A Guide to Medication Management, which was developed by An Bord Altranais and the National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery.
The conference was opened by Mrs. Anne Carrigy, President, An Bord Altranais, (Address available below) and focussed on three themes:
a) medication management,
b) problem-based and practice-based learning
c) professional Competence.
