Introduction
The Return to Nursing/Midwifery Practice courses are provided to enable nurses/midwives returning to practice to update both their theoretical knowledge and their clinical skills and to facilitate the attainment of competence and confidence in the provision of nursing/midwifery care.
The Scope of Nursing and Midwifery Practice Framework and The Code of Professional Conduct for Each Nurse and Midwife emphasise the need for nurses/midwives to be competent and accountable for their practice.
The prospective employer may require the nurse/midwife to undertake such a course. For details of the Return to Nursing/Midwifery Practice Courses please refer to the below downloads.
