Policy on Requesting Samples for Surveys
An Bord Altranais receives numerous requests to help with surveys and to provide statistical information.
The Board has always encouraged nurses and midwives to continue their professional development and research issues of concern to the professions, as this will benefit the professions in the long run.
Policies for surveys and statistics have been devised and students and researchers who wish to use our facilities should carefully note the terms and condtions outlined.
The Board does not release the names and addresses of nurses and midwives to researchers, and as a rule, does not release stastical information where the identity of an individual nurse or midwife can be determined.
