New Board takes office: 5/8/2013 - The Nurses and Midwives Act 2011, which was signed into law on 21 December 2011, called for the appointment of a new Board to Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann/Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). The newly appointed Board met for the first time on March 25-26 for a two day induction programme.
Customer Service / Ombudsman’s Office Liaison Person: 5/1/2013 - Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) has set up a new customer service function in order to meet the needs of our service users and to fulfil the requirements of the Nurses and Midwives Act 2011 and the Ombudsman (Amendment) Act 2012.
